1863 (7 Apr.) front to Mauritius, marked "Via Galle", bearing India 2a. (8) tied by Bombay duplex, showing fine "2d/to pay" (Type UP22) h.s. The Union Line ceased in that month and this was probably sent via Aden and the 16a. pre-payment was the correct rate for a cover weighing between ½ and 1oz. by that route; on arrival in Mauritius it was correctly charged 2d.
