1867 (6 Dec.) soldier's envelope (with letter) to London, headed "From Bombr Thomas Chiffe, 5 Battery 2nd Bde R.A. Mauritius", bearing untied 1863 1d. brown cancelled by poor "B53", countersigned by Commanding Officer and showing red arrival c.d.s. with despatch datestamp on reverse; the envelope a little soiled and with some small faults at top caused through opening.
