Reversed printed essay in black on stout paper with the design measuring 76x96mm with manuscript notation "1925.1" below, also a smaller proof, 49x60mm, the correct way round (uncleared and crudely printed) with notation "1925.2" below; two horizontal folding creases (one through each design) and some light ageing at foot. Rare and desirable. Photo

Note: Although this design was not adopted, it is thought that it was resubmitted for the 1929 issue as this is the illustration of the aeroplane used
