1763 (10 Nov.) entire letter to "Mr. James Gordon, Madeira Merchant, to be left at Loyds Coffee House, London", endorsed "p. the Dolphin, Capt. Dillon Q.D.C", marked "1oz.¾", rated "IN10" and showing arrival Bishop mark "3/IA" on reverse. Photo

Note: This is the earliest known letter from the first period of British Occupation, 1761-78. The letter mentions enclosures and this explains the weight of 1¾ oz.
