1894 (18 July) Denhardt envelope registered from Lamu to Germany and redirected locally upon arrival, bearing ½a. brown, 1a. blue-green and 8a. blue sharing a single strike of the squared-circle datestamp, oval-framed "r" on Mombasa at upper right, the reverse with sender's cachet, Zanzibar (21.7) and arrival (20.8) c.d.s.; the envelope fractionally truncated at right though a most attractive three-colour franking.
