A collection of cancellations on loose stamps/pieces (71) and covers (39); the loose stamps include "B65" (Type 2) on 1859 imperf 6d. blue (R.P.S. certificate, 1995) and 1/- vermilion (touched or cut-into on three sides), 1863-72 CC 1d., 4d. and 6d., and 1878 8c. on 2d., 13c. on 3d. and 17c. on 4d., "B65" (Type 1) on 1880 CC 8c., 1883-84 CA 4c. carmine, 4c. orange, 8c. and 16c., a range of c.d.s. on Arms values (22) to 25c.; the covers (1901-65) include 1901 (Oct.) envelope to Mauritius franked at 20c. and tied by superb Proud Type D3, 1907 (Jan. and May) picture postcards to Marseilles, franked at 6c. and 8c. (a 4c. does not belong) and cancelled by Type D4, 1911 (16 Dec.) "Barker" envelope registered to England, franked at $1.13 and cancelled by Type D4, 1919 (Apr.) envelope to Cape Colony, franked at 6c. and cancelled by Type D5, 1931 front registered to England, franked at 30c., cancelled by Type D4 and showing registration label, 1937 (3 May and 20 Aug.) envelopes to England, franked at 13c. and 7c., cancelled by Type D7 in violet, 1937 (Aug.) envelope to Port Louis franked at 5c. and cancelled by Type D7 in black, and 1947 (24 Oct.) envelope registered (marking deleted) to USA, franked at 2r.50 and cancelled by Type D8 in violet.
