1938 selection of fourteen covers and cards, including (22 May) Natal (Brazil) -Rio de Janeiro flight, forced down in bad weather, censored cover with "accidente/de aviao" cachet; (18 June) "Santa Lucia", crashed shortly after take off from Santiago; (1 Oct.) Frankfurt-Milan flight crashed on a glacier, cover (stamp floated off) with its ambulance cover and explanatory slip, etc.
