1855 (13 Dec.) mourning front from Madras "Via Southampton" to Bath, bearing two examples in blue and dull red, one with clear to good margins, the other touched on the horizontal sides, both cancelled by diamond of dots and tied by London Paid c.d.s. (19.1), showing despatch datestamp and crescent-shaped "india paid" handstamp; 55mm. scissor-cut at lower left well clear of the adhesives; clean and attractive. A Diena Certificate (1953). Photo
