1877 (June) new printings on stout hard-surfaced paper with smooth colourless gum, fine roulette 15½ to 16, 1d. bright-red block of four from Setting II, [13-22] in the right-hand pane, variety imperforate vertically, the individual stamps therefore fine roulette x imperforate, fresh with part original gum; some split and re-enforced roulettes between, vertical crease at right and a couple of small brown marks on reverse of lower pair, otherwise sound. Very rare and unlisted in the S.G. catalogue. Brandon Certificate (2013) incorrectly attributing this as S.G. 105b. photo
