1898 (28 Jan.) envelope registered from Wadi Halfa and addressed in Arabic to Cairo, bearing 1897 on Egypt 2p. orange-brown, 5p. slate and 10p. mauve neatly cancelled with "halfa" c.d.s. (Proud D2) with a further strike at left and with framed "egypte/r" handstamp at foot, arrival c.d.s. (4.3) on reverse. A fine and rare usage of these high values. B.P.A. Certificate (2011). Photo
