1941 series of eleven 5m. photographic essays in a variety of pictorial designs with notes on what they portray written on reverse of each, a few not dissimilar to the 1951 issue, and offered with a 1941 (16 June) letter, headed "P.&R./S.D.F.", from W.L. Atkinson (the designer of the 1951 issue stamps) with notes regarding the designs, etc.
