During his reign, RajeŚvara Simha made some one-off innovations to the coinage. In this case he issued a series of coins in Sk. 1675 (AD 1753) in Nagari script instead of the usual Assamese script. These are known in the form of the mohur, rupee, half and quarter rupee. All of these are very rare except the rupee, which is scarce.
