(x) Edward III (1327-77), fourth coinage, pre treaty period, 1351-61, Noble, 7.72g, London, series G, m.m. cross 3, king, crowned, standing facing in ship holding sword, left, and shield, right, saltire stops, rev. floriate cross, arms extending from central panel containing large letter e, crowned leopard in each angle, a small pellet each side of the tip of upper arm, medivim (cf Schneider 51; N.1182; S.1490), water worn, good fine / nearly very fine
