Fastolf was a prolific moneyer for Eadgar at York. He is known for a single coin for Edward the Martyr and another example of the Aethelred II first small cross type as well as the first hand type.

The first small cross type of Aethelred II is by far the most difficult to find of the reform coinage small cross issues of Eadgar, Edward the Martyr and Aethelred II.
