An attractive and valuable collection on leaves with Amoy including 1896 ½c. on 4c. surcharges with "Gent" for Cent" in blue, other surcharges and Postage Dues; useful Chinkiang with first issue 1c. proof pair in rose-red, Postage Due with first issue 4c. overprint double in red and black, inverted overprints (11) including ½c. overprint in red, also ½ "U" omitted and "U" inserted by hand, 1895 printed Postage Dues with 6c. imperf. horizontally (pair), 5c. on 5c. surcharge inverted, Service set unused and used; Chungking unused and used; Hankow with first issue set of three and later with surcharges, Postage Dues including the set of five inverted and 5c. double; Ichang; Kewkiang 1894 to 40c., 1896 surcharges 1c. on 5c. surcharge double, one on reverse, Postage Due ½c. overprint inverted; Nanking unused and used, 1c. imperf.; extensive Wuhu with 1894 to 40c. including 1c. and 10c. imperforate vertical pairs, 1895 overprints; 1895 values plus overprints including inverted on 1c. (used), 2c., 6c., 15c. and 40c., "P.P.C." overprint in red with 10c. inverted, in black and in combination with Chinese characters; Postage Due overprints including inverted on 10c. and on "P.P.C." stamps.
