1886 (26 Apr.) mourning envelope to Port Hamilton "Via San Francisco" bearing U.S. 5c. brown cancelled by Maltese Cross and with Burr Oak c.d.s. alongside, both in violet, addressed to Captain Gordon "care of Senior British Naval Officer, Nagasaki, Japan", the reverse bearing San Francisco, Yokohama and Nagasaki (5.6) datestamps; a little roughly opened at top and two small segments of flap missing on the reverse. A good cover from this correspondence
