Government of Trinidad and Tobago, uniface colour trial $2, 1905 issue, used as an experiment into colourfastness, red, ships, harbour and mountains in vignettes at left and right, value at centre and each corner. Note cut into three sections, left half untouched, top right treated with carbolic, bottom right treated with creosole, along with a rubbing on tracing paper taken from each of the treated sections. All mounted on gridded and watermarked paper titled "Appendix B" and dated "18th April 1913"
