Japan, Empire, China Incident Commemorative Medal 1937, bronze, nearly extremely fine, rare, with original riband with full hook and eye assembly

The China Incident Commemorative Medal was awarded to those who had made outstanding contributions to the war effort in China, but who were not eligible for the far more commonly encountered China Incident War Medal. It is believed that the Commemorative Medal was awarded to Chinese nationals who collaborated with the Japanese occupation forces in China, 1937-42.
