An Unidentified Shoulder Belt Plate
A fine quality example the engine turned gilt back plate with silver and gilt mounts, comprising a multi-rayed Eastern style star in silver overlaid with a gilt and enamelled cross of the Order of the Bath, below the cross the engine turned numeral '1', complete with original leather liner, c.1830-1855, damage to the red enamel backing to the pierced motto otherwise very good condition
