5866 Private John Tugnutt, born Brighton, Sussex, 1881; served with the Royal Sussex Regiment during the Boer War and with the 2nd Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 20.9.1914; died of wounds, 15.11.1914, and is buried in Lille Southern Cemetery, France.
