Princess Alice, Duchess of GloucesterTwo black and white photographs, each 205mm x 150mm, of the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, by Dorothy Wilding, London, the photographs signed ´Henry´ and ´Alice´ respectively, and both dated ´1948´, the Duke of Gloucester in General´s uniform, with riband bars; the Duchess of Gloucester in evening dress wearing the sash and Star of the Order of the British Empire, and the Badges of the Crown of India and the Royal Family Orders of King George V and King George VI on bow ribands, both unframed, together with a letter addressed to Mrs. Gray from the Duchess of Gloucester, dated 28.2.1948, thanking her ´for your kindness and hospitality to us on our way to and from Ceylon´, and signed ´Alice´ (2)
