Queensland1897-1911 Figures In All Four CornersRegistered Mail1902 (1 Mar.) envelope, originally posted and registered at a receiving office, "Queens Beach" in manuscript at left, from Townsville (11.3) to Tasmania, bearing 1d. and 2d. pair cancelled "R" in oval and with Registered c.d.s. at foot, showing superb "received torn/townsville" and with Officially Sealed labels on face and reverse, Tattersall´s "No Cash 22.3.01" in green crayon on face and Hobart c.d.s. on reverse. A rare and most unusual item, and the sole recorded example of the Received Torn handstamp. Photo
