QueenslandThe Chalon IssuesCovers1861 (8 Oct.) entire from Rockhampton "p Boomerang" to Sydney, bearing 1860 imperf. 6d. green with three very large margins, each showing trace of adjoining stamp, touched at right, cancelled with indistinct "120" and showing, on reverse, despatch and arrival (15.10) c.d.s.; the entire with minor fold faults and the 6d. with light age marks at edges, otherwise sound. A rare stamp on cover. R.P.S. Certificate (1993) states "stamp lifted and replaced" with which we do not concur. Photo
