Cayman Islands The John Byl Collection The Rural Post "east end" (Type RP2) handstamp 1913 (18 Feb.) envelope to Montgomery Ward & Co., Chicago, bearing 1908 2 1/2d. ultramarine cancelled with a good strike of the "east end/Grand Cayman./rural/Post Gollection." boxed handstamp in violet and with recipient´s arrival datestamp (26.2) alongside, the reverse with Boddentown (18.2 and 19.2) and Georgetown (19.2) c.d.s.; a couple of minor imperfections though very rare, being one of only three recorded commercial covers cancelled with any Rural Post handstamp which it is thought were intended for internal mail only.
