Cayman Islands The John Byl Collection The Rural Post "east end" (Type RP2) handstamp 1912 (17 Jan.) envelope from Georgetown to Gun Bay beyond East End, bearing 1907 1/2d. green cancelled with Georgetown c.d.s. and showing, at foot, fine "east end/Grand Cayman./rural/Post Gollection." boxed handstamp in violet alongside Boddentown c.d.s. (17.1); the envelope truncated at left, crease at foot and with some minor stains though very rare, being the only known example of a Rural Post handstamp used as a transit mark.
