Cayman Islands The John Byl Collection 1907 (Nov.) George Town Provisionals 1907 (27 Nov.) envelope registered to New York, bearing " 1/2d." on 5/- salmon on green horizontal strip of three and "1d" on 5/- salmon and green horizontal pair and a single, all neatly cancelled with Georgetown c.d.s., showing "r" in oval handstamp at foot, Mobile Registration label and showing, on reverse, Mobile (9.12) and New York (11.12) Registration datestamps; the envelope with a couple of trivial imperfections though an early date of use and one of only ten envelopes franked with both handstamped surcharges. Surely one of the most important covers from this issue.
