Korea 1904 (12 Apr.) Russian 4k. postal stationery card to Japan, written in Vladivostok and cancelled by Songjin (Johsin) , Korea and with transit c.d.s. (18.4) on the address side. Fine and rare. Photo Estimate HK$ 10,000-15,000 Note: This appears to be a Paquebot card, howerver, Songjin did not have a Paquebot handstamp. The Russian Army attacked Songjin on 15th April 1904 and the Japanese Post Office was closed on this day. It finally re-opened about one year later. Late use and an important card from this period
