China Airmail Issues and First Flights 1930 (December 4) Pre-printed Military Trial Flight Cover from Canton to Wuchow, franked with 2nd Air Post 15¢ and Junk 4¢, both tied by small square ´Carried by Air Mail´ chop in Red, applied by Canton Aviation Bureau, additionally canceled by Wuchow cds upon arrival, large commemorative cachet in Red alongside. The First Trial Flight by military plane ´Chungking´ took off from Canton to Wuchow at 10AM on December 1, 1930 and arrived at Wuchow on the same day at 12:30PM, only 20 letters were carried. This letter was carried by the 2nd Trial Flight which took off on December 4, 1930, only 150 letters were carried. The regular Canton-Wuchow service was inaugurated on Friday January 16, 1931.
