An interesting group of trial watermarked paper for Postal Orders, comprising 1885 proposed design for a uniform watermark without denomination, contained in original Portals envelope annotated ´dissaproved etc´ 1886 proposed design for 2 shillings on machine made paper, in original Portals envelope annotated ´approved´, and, a series of 10 sheets for 7/6d, now including registration numbers at top right, all identical, in original envelope annotated ´re counterfoil for Postal Orders, April 12 1901´, generally very fine and better. (12 plus envelopes)
