A red cloth bound book, containing 120 multicoloured engine turnings and designs for underprints, both obverse and reverse, for a large variety of world banknotes. Some recognisable as Banco National Ultramarino, reverse 10 and 20 rupias, design of 1906, Imperial Bank of Persia, obverse 50 tomans, 1890, Banco de Espana, 50, 100 and 500 pesetas, 1907, and several Chinese notes with dragons and some Ottoman designs. Generally dating from the 1890´s to the 1910´s.
notes are extremely fine to uncirculated, a superb item that deserves closer study (120)
