USSR, The Ministry of Coal, Arcticugol Government Trust, a series of notes from the 1951 series comprising 1, 3, 10 and 20 kopek, 1, 3, 5, 10, 25, 100 rubels, all various colours, value at left and right, all with red zero serial numbers(AR 36, 37, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 47), the Arcticugol Trust was a Russian owned coal mining company originating in Svalbard in 1931 and subsequently expanding into several other areas. The company now operates only in Barentsburg. The notes were good for exchange in the Company shop in Spitsbergen. Small rust stain on 1 rubel otherwise uncirculated, all notes from this issue are very rare (10)
