A large sheet of paper (folded for display) bearing plate VII Penny Blacks annotated as "24lbs" TK and TJ, "26lbs" BK and BD, and "28 lbs" in the hand of L.de Nicolas (Bacons clerk) CK and CF, each cancelled by concentric circles cancellation. At the top there are three paper samples with "present gum", "New dark No.1" and "New light No.2" in the hand of Joshua Bacon. A rare and desirable trial of which very few complete examples exist in private hands. S.G. Spec. DP20G
