Great BritainCollections and RangesAn early to modern accumulation of postal history, contained in six cartons, including large quantities of Q.V. postal stationery with uprated and 1892 1d. red type addressed to Bermuda with comical hand-drawn story on reverse, Surface-Printed issues with quantities of 1881 1d. lilac (hundreds) with 1884 (23 Sept.) from Horsham S.O. with amusing note on reverse "Cecil´s train was full of hop pickers, a regular fight took place at one station & they were very nearly an hour late at waterloo"; also official, registered and postage due markings some with adhesives. A very interesting lot well worth closer inspection. (Many thousands)
