Pitcairn Islands1924-81, mint and used collection housed in a red "Senator" album, hundreds, including 1924 envelope to Bristol with good "posted in pitcairn island/1924 no stamps available" (S.G. C9, £2,500, R.P.S. Certificate 1978), roughly opened and some stains, 1931-39 eight covers with "pitcairn island/n.z. postal agency" datestamps, 1940-51 set perforated "specimen", 1951 envelope, registered to England franked 1½d., 3d. and with handstruck "pitcairn is/r" cachet, 1949 Wedding 10/- (2), 1957-63 set, later issues, blocks of four, first day covers, etc., chiefly fine. Also literature with "pitcairn islands" by C. Kitching and "Pitcairn islands stamps and postal history" by F.W. Foxwell
