Bahamas 1863 (21 Aug.) pale yellow envelope to Italy, showing superb "nassau/paid" c.d.s. alongside manuscript "1/3" in red crayon, sent via London with manuscript rate mark and circular-framed "more/to pay" h.s., circular-framed "pd" in red at foot and, on reverse, London, Paris and Via Di Mare d.s.; small faults at top through opening though most attractive.
