Prince Edward Island Third Issue 1869 (Spring) Printing, Off White Paper, Perf 11 1/4 (machine B1) Covers 1871 (14 Jan.) envelope registered from Charlotte Town to New Glasgow, bearing 9d reddish mauve compound perf 11 1/4x11 3/4x11 1/4x11 3/4 paying the 3d. single letter rate to Nova Scotia and 6d. registration fee, clearly tied by Type P144 cork obliterator and showing Type P80 despatch c.d.s. with, on reverse, Amhurst (27.1) and Albion Mines datestamps.
