Prince Edward Island Third Issue Proofs 3d. blue range, all imperforate, comprising a pair c.1862, a pair with large part gum showing perf 11 3/4 trial along top and bottom, a marginal block of four with gum, probably a colour trial c.1870, a top left corner block of four from c.1867 used to proof the 1869 4d. value in black on reverse, and a tête-bêche interpanneau block of four being printer´s waste probably found amongst the 1893 remaindered stock; some minor faults though a most interesting lot Estimate £ 1,000-1,200
