Prince Edward Island Early Letters and Handstamps Mail to Great Britain 1850 (22 July) double rate entire to Ruby, redirected to Rothesay and again to Edinburgh, showing fine strike of the scarce "george-town-paid" h.s. in red (Type P15) with red manuscript "2/-" inserted, Rugby and Rothsay (in blue) datestamps, two manuscript "2" in red (each applied upon redirection) and, on reverse, fine strike of the scarce "george-town" double-arc d.s. in red (Type P47), "prince edward island" datestamp (Type P5) plus Rugby and Rothesay (in blue) arrival datestamps; some faults including wear along folds.
