Prince Edward Island Early Letters and Handstamps Mail to Great Britain 1828 (7 Sept.) soldier´s entire letter from Charlotte Town to Yorkshire, headed "From John Atherton Private Soldier, 52nd Regiment of Light Infty", countersigned by Commanding Officer, marked "Pd 1d" in red, showing light double-ring "post office/p.e. island" h.s.
