Great Britain Postal History A Selection of Poignant Entires and Letters 1788 (10 July) entire letter from Strasbourg, addressed to "Monsieur Lee Officier au service de So Ma Le Roy de la grande Bretagne, Brunswick, Basse Saxe, red crayon "5" (groschen) on the face and "strasbourg" handstamp on reverse; The addressee, William Lee, was the great-great-grandfather of Robson Lowe; An interesting and amusing letter, albeit downright obscene at places.
