Great Britain Postal History Rowland Hill Letters 1879 (18 Jan.) a sheet of note paper containing a reply to a request for a personal photograph from Rowland Hill. The message is written on Rowland Hill´s behalf, and he manages to write his very fragile signature. Hill passed away seven months later at the age of 83. A poignant document, possibly the last surviving letter signed by Rowland Hill in private hands. Also some cutting and engravings of Hill. Photo Estimate £ 1,500-2,000
