The "Temple" Collection of Errors and Varieties Queen Elizabeth II 1967 (10 July) British Paintings 4d. lower-right corner traffic light vertical strip of three, variety gold grossly misplaced 20mm. to top resulting in the lower stamp with gold (value and Queen´s head) omitted, fine unmounted mint. A possibly unique positional item showing the variety in this form. S.G. 748a, £325; GBR1496a + F292CSb. Photo Estimate £ 150-200 Note: A sheet with gold head and value omitted was purchased from Chingford, however Pierron states "A few copies are known to have originated from sheets with extreme gold shifts"
