Lapirot, worn impression 2d. blue horizontal pair with margins in places, both with neat target cancellation and affixed on 1859 (12 Oct.) entire "Via Suez & France" to Bordeaux, showing sender´s cachet in bright blue at lower left corner, "8" rate h.s. and French entry d.s. (1.11), the reverse with despatch and arrival datestamps; the pair crossed by a horizontal filing creas. A rare franking. S.G. 39. Photo Estimate £ 1,000-1,200
