Banco Hipotecario, a series of three bonds bearing 6%, 7% and 8%, each for $1000 pesos, Valparaiso 19- (circa 1910), specimen certificates from the American Bank Note Company archive, allegorical figure at left, blue, brown and green respectively, numbered 00000, overprinted specimen in red over signature area, with coupons, centre folds otherwise about extremely fine. Part of a series of mortgage bonds of varying interest. Most of the bonds of this company were denominated in pounds sterling.
