F. at the old man – bust in ruff (N.8897, 8909d, 8916b; BW.2525, 2538, 2532), very fine, a little old verdigris on obverse of BW.2525 (3) Estimate £ 100-130 The ´old man´ was Thomas Parr (d. 1635), supposed centenarian.
