Hong Kong Treaty Ports Canton 1838 (15 Sept.) long, double page Wetmore entire letter to London by "Himmaleh via U. States" and rated "3/2", the reverse bearing boxed "liverpool/ship letter" partly overstruck by London arrival (9.4); horizontal fold. The contents include a duplicate of a letter dated 1837 (23 Dec.) and gives the current details of ships and cargoes of tea and includes, "we are endeavouring to close sales of all of out opium" and the problems with some traders not having sufficient funds available locally.
