Hong Kong Covers and Cancellations Censor Marks 1940 (25 May) envelope registered to Paris with manuscript "By Imperial Airways" in red ink, bearing Sun Yat Sen $6.25 franking tied by Shanghai machine cancellations, sent via Hong Kong with two "opened by censor/hong kong" censor seals, Hong Kong registered c.d.s. (28.5) and handstruck "TR" in turquoise, the earliest of only two recorded. A few minor cover faults do not detract from this intriguing marking. Photo Estimate HK$ 2,000-2,500
