Hong Kong Opium Trade 1927-28, an archive from Khota State relating to the programme of the Opium Committee with printed and typewritten documents detailing growing and revenue issues and includes a copy of the Viceroy´s opening speech, details of the tour of the committee around the Indian States, a fourteen page typewritten report being a note on general opium matters and a newspaper cutting which makes reference to the serious problem of cocaine use, telegrams and much more; also 1945 a few typewritten memos from Jhalawar State with notes on revenue and cultivation. A rare accumulation of documents which give a valuable insight into opium production in India at this time Estimate HK$ 30,000-40,000
