China 1898-1910 Chinese Imperial Post Covers 1903 (Sept.) red band cover registered to Peking bearing, on the reverse, 1c. (2) and 4c. (2) tied by Taichow tombstone lunar dater (date unfilled) and with a fine strike of Siennumiao tombstone lunar dater (date unfilled), Chinkiang bilingual c.d.s. (16.9) and Peking dated oval (24.9) in violet; a further 1c. on the front of the cover, also tied by Taichow tombstone with a good strike of the boxed registered handstamp.
