Great Britain 1858-79 One Penny Postal Fraud: Uncancelled portions of two different stamps (EM at top and MD at foot) on Scottish Union Insurance Office printed form to London, "WC/10" duplex cancellation of 10 Nov. 1875, very fine and an extremely rare example of successful fraud. Offered with postal notice "Circular to all Postmasters who obliterate Postage Stamps alteration in the system of lettering the corners of postage labels." dated 24th. July 1858; fine.
